2001 Tour: Niagara Falls and Canada

July 9: Travel to Ottowa, then to Montreal

We were up, had the bus packed and were ready for breakfast at 8:00 this morning. Unfortunately, breakfast was not ready for us until almost 8:30. We were a bit late leaving for Ottawa, but we arrived at Parliament Hill a little early. As we arrived, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police were just finishing a performance in front of the Parliament building. We cleared security and were in the rotunda in time to warm up before our performance. The girls produced a glorious sound in the excellent acoustics of the rotunda.

After the performance, we made our way down to the Rideau Canal for a boat ride through Ottawa. The canal ride lasted about an hour, during which time the girls entertained not only themselves, but also the crew of the boat. Once we got off of the boat, we went to Rideau Centre for lunch and shopping. Rideau Center is a huge mall with over 200 stores, so the girls had a chance to feed their shopping addictions. John Bejermi, our local host who is Lebanese, took some chaperones and their girls to a Lebanese restaurant. As they were walking to it, one of the girls asked him what kind of food they had at a lesbian restaurant. Ah, the innocence of youth!

After the mall, we boarded the bus for the trip to Montreal. We stopped about 80 kilometers out of Montreal for dinner at Mon Village. Mon Village was a very quaint restaurant that the girls and chaperones alike seemed to really enjoy. After a wonderful and relaxing meal, we got back on the bus for the trip to Montreal and to our new hotel.
